The United States international formed part of the Rossoneri side that tumbled out of the Champions League following a shock knockout phase play-off defeat to Feyenoord. He then found himself on the wrong end of a 2-1 scoreline against Torino in Serie A.

Pulisic had the opportunity to net his 13th goal of the season in that contest, when Milan were trailing 1-0, but fluffed his lines from 12 yards as he failed to convert from the spot – tarnishing his previously unblemished record in that department.

Defeat to Torino has left Milan seventh in the Italian top flight and outside of the European qualification places with 13 fixtures remaining. They will be back in action on Thursday when taking in a trip to Bologna, while more major silverware remains up for grabs after reaching the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia.
