A Robert Lewandowski brace and late goals from Lamine Yamal and Raphinha at Santiago Bernabeu strengthened Barcelona's advantage at the top of La Liga on Saturday. Former Blaugrana defender Pique was quick to bask in the glory of the victory, and took to social media to point out how Madrid can "never be like us".

Pique, who played 616 times for Barcelona from 2008 to 2022 and won a hatful of trophies along the way, was right to feel overjoyed at the result that ended Madrid's 42-game unbeaten La Liga run. Hansi Flick's team are now six points clear at the top of the league and they will take some beating in this title race.
